Sealsamas Sousse’i kuurortpiirkonnas, kus džihadist juunis tappis 38 turisti, lasti eile maha Tuneesia politseinik.

«Tundmatud ründajad tulistasid kolme teel olnud politseiniku pihta. Üks neist sai tabamise ja suri haiglas,» rääkis Rafik Chelly, Tuneesia rahvusliku julgeoleku riigisekretär. Ta ei soostunud täpsustama, kas ka sel korral võisid ründajad olla islamistid, öeldes vaid, et uurimine käib.

Politseinikud ootasid tee ääres auto peale võtmist. Ründaja oli mootorrattal.

Alates 26. juuni veresaunast on Tuneesias kehtinud riiklik eriolukord.
