Leedulaste huvi kaitseväeteenistusse astumise vastu on pärast Venemaa Ukraina-vastase agressiooni algust kasvanud viiendiku võrra, teatasid Leedu kaitsejõud reedel.

«Läinud aasta sama perioodiga võrreldes kasvas märtsis 20 protsendi võrra nende inimeste arv, kes soovisid teavet Leedu kaitseväes teenimise võimaluste kohta või avaldasid soovi omandada algteadmisi kodumaa kaitsmiseks,» ütles kaitseministeeriumi pressiesindaja Skomantas Povilionis BNSile.
