Rootsi piirivalvealus tõi neljapäeval Vahemerelt Sitsiiliasse 570 sisserändajat, teatasid võimuesindajad.
Migrandid viidi Palermo sadamasse. Merelt avastati ühtlasi 52 inimese laibad.
Itaalia piirivalve teatel toodi Liibüa ranniku lähedalt ära veel 1400 sisserändajat.
